Pros

- Company is growing, so layoffs are not expected. - Nicest co-workers ever. -Great potential in Customer Service

Cons

- Less recognition for hard work - the position i was in had permanent overtime but there was no overtime pay and no bonus for extra work, so i had to leave. - People should get paid extra if they work 7 days a week or more than 40 hours a week.

Pros

I am not someone who likes to work within the constraints of large corporate bureaucracy. GlobalCollect offers the best of both worlds as it has the financial backing and numerous resources of its parent company, Ingenico, but is still lean enough that every employee can make a substantial impact. GC is a great place to work if you want your ideas to be heard and implemented. There are excellent opportunities for advancement, growth and I can honestly say I learn something new every day. The executive team is somewhat in flux but for the most part are very approachable and value strong contributors who know how to work autonomously. International staff bring such an additional level of diversity and creativity that you will not find at other organizations. This is a great company to work at if you are a risk taker and independent thinker. All ideas are heard and employees are treated with respect. The culture here is highly favorable for my work style. Hard work and results are rewarded. You can pretty much walk into anyone’s office and tell them exactly what is on your mind which makes navigating through problems so much easier than some of the prior positions I've held at larger companies. I would highly recommend GC to mid-to-senior level people with some payments knowledge.

Cons

Everyone here has some kind of skill gap and it can be a bit overwhelming to keep up. This is more the nature of this industry rather than a company-specific problem. Be prepared to find out answers to questions on your own. I would not recommend this company to people who have no knowledge of payments.
