gaining good work experience, also learning to be patient because there is no process

Politics , toxic environment and not professional , most of DevOps managers don't deserve to be in that level .

It's a job, which you get paid for.

Cons

Been given a months notice that instead of working one in 3 weekends, it's every other weekend. Used to pay you extra for overtime worked when you get stuck on a long call after your shift has ended, but instead you're given TOIL, which is near impossible to use. High turnover of staff & freeze on employing adequate staff. This puts pressure on existing staff, meaning they have to work twice as hard. No room for progression. Most of the computers are very slow, only having 4gb of ram. This makes it difficult to work efficiently. Toilet breaks are monitored.
