Pros

Not a good experience in the NY office. A lot of girlboss, gaslight, gatekeeping -- zero onboarding training / prep for projects; super difficult high variance in between salaries for the same role. Not a place to grow professionally. If you're interested in tech companies, I recommend going to NY office only if you can't find another opportunity. *Only for NY office.* The Berlin & London offices are wonderful.

Cons

Was spoken down to 95% of my time there, esp in front of others, it was toxic, horrible for my mental health, never given context on projects, not filled with A-players at all, not onboarded properly, and the food made me sick

- The opportunity to work on multiple meal kit brands at once looks good on a resume

Cons

- I observed many top performers leave around the one-year mark (or less) during my time at HelloFresh. - Team restructurings are frequent, and in my opinion they did not come with much context or transparency from upper management.

Pros

-Competitive salaries -Some coworkers are very bright and inspiring to work with -Product has been doing really well

Cons

-Despite having a great year, earnings are not passed onto employees (low bonuses) and lack of investment in necessary tech -Egos drive a lot of management decisions -Poor work life balance, especially for buyers. Fires everyday that require constant attention and it's hard to prioritize or grow in career because of these constant fires. -Job description is not exactly true to the role, all work is fairly manual because of these constant fires. -Expected to control the uncontrollables -Management has not listened to needs for several years -"Us" vs "them" between teams and blame game culture -Constant levels being added in so there's minimal visibility to leadership and opportunities for growth
