Pros

Employee discount (I guess) Coworkers were fun to speak with. Management always felt like they had our best interest at heart and genuinely cared for us.

Cons

The pay is terrible. Customers are more rude than anywhere else I've worked. Completing your tasks will only lead you to finding more garbage somewhere else. Very unfulfilling. Zero pay increase, you will always be a minimum wage worker. Not all the homeless people that walked into the store were an issue, though some were very rude and would either steal a whole cart of items or make a mess of the store.

Pros

Most coworkers are friendly. Not a lot of micromanaging. Easy work.

Cons

Worst part is you have quotas each month and high turnover. Management doesn’t do much but raise quotas and have meetings. The top people have been with the company too long and are out of touch with the real work. The only people being promoted are those that suck up to the upper management

Pros

My particular store is full of amazing people, and the working environment is quite close. They also have programs that allow you to help people with things like free medical equipment, clothing, and job and resume help for those in need.

Cons

This company is much less disability friendly than it touts itself to be. Much of our staff including me is disabled in one way or another and I frequently see staff pushed knowingly beyond their limits by management. Disability accommodations are often difficult to obtain. I was recently asked to remove an accommodation that a coworker had the necessary paperwork for, because the paperwork had not yet been approved by HR. Our goals raise quite frequently but the pay raises very rarely and for associates, is lower than the pay of any fast food restaurant near me at $11. As a result, we have a low retention rate and are constantly understaffed. I just don’t believe the pay for this job is proportional to the extremely high expectations.
