Pros

You get a paycheck (but of course that's standard).

Cons

The majority of upper management/leadership are highly unqualified and lack the people skills necessary to lead a company that size. Turn over is extremely high for a corporate office (not just the retail level), and more than 80% of employees are underpaid and overworked. Benefits are a joke. I would never work for this company again, nor would I recommend anyone work for this company. Continue to look elsewhere for employment because you will be VERY unhappy here.

Pros

The employees genuinely want to make the company successful, and are really nice, but are horribly frustrated. They have a good cafeteria and there's a Starbucks on site.

Cons

If you are just looking for something to fill your time, then it might be worth it to work there, but if you are a professional who takes her work seriously and your experience is actually usable, then you will be beyond disappointed. Upper management is blinded by ego and cultural obstacles making real success utterly impossible. Teamwork is always pushed but never practiced by upper management. Their bonus structure is politicized and your contribution is irrelevant. They must make the numbers work, no matter the value you've brought to the company. Management believes that you should be thankful that you have a job. There is absolutely no appreciation for your contribution - you are an employee and it is expected that you will give all you have while you work. This is a cultural obstacle that is rapidly killing this company. Managers and other upper management types are leaving the company in droves. The way the company does business is bizarre. The cast of characters is made up of people whose experience in no way matches their positions, so massive incompetence exists. You would simply not believe what it looks like from the inside, figuratively and literally. There are no pictures on the walls and you are not allowed to hang any. Everything is white - floors, walls, furniture. As I write this, I almost feel like a lunatic - how could anything be as I describe it? It is exactly as I describe it and I could go on for weeks how bizarre that place is. I found a job doing something completely different and I think my sanity will be saved as a result, but I feel terrible for those who can't find another job.
