Pros

The Cafeteria is AWESOME and CHEAP! Sorta like their fashion. It's not that hard to get a job at Headquarters SINCE they are ALWAYS hiring. and firing and quitting.

Cons

Working at headquarters can be ridiculously ostracizing for someone who is not into socializing with the department they are in. Art-y types tend to stick together, as does HR, and every other of the 3 dozen+ departments. Training is up to you, during orientation they tell you to "ASK QUESTIONS" constantly. But, in practice it is quite different. There are no real training manuals, not that life should come with one, but... I felt like a robot working there. Stay in your ALL white cubicle and don't get the shiny white floors dirty. There are a LOT of 20/30 somethings working there so if you are older you WILL feel your age.

Pros

Company perks are nice. Free lunch, discounts at the stores, the new corporate offices has a starbucks now. Benefits are decent. Many times gourment lunch trucks come to the offices.

Cons

The accounting department has the worst leadship I have ever seen and is not just the accounting department. On a weekly basis one or two people quit, sometimes more. Accounting systems are archaic the company as a whole still runs off of excel spreasheets. The accounting department is managed by inexperienced managers that have no clue how to retain employees and is very cliquish many times they hire their buddies from other companies. Personaly seen a manager fire an entire group of 9 employees and turn around and hire his buddies to replace those positions. The company is very much a family owned company making it very hard to improve anything because the family is still operating like it was a mom and pop shop. Family members are in key leadership roles and many times people are afraid to offend them. The average age of the employees is mid 20's making it hard for seasoned professionals to get any real work done because you are consistently training new people employees on how to do their job. The complany as a whole has one of the worse turn over rates in any industry(as a HR person once told me). Rarely do you meet anyone that has been there longer then a couple of years. There is a definate racial divide many asian are in leadership positions rarely do you see other races in leadership positions. Lunch time is like high school one of the most cliquish companies I've ever worked at.
