      Pros

      There are many committed loyal employees who are not recognised by management

      Cons

      The company once had integrity and values but not any more. They use and discard so many good committed people who dare to question what's going on. As a result staff live in fear for their jobs and livelihood. Standards have slipped to an all time low - nothing seems to go right here despite all the new management initiatives which come and go.

      Its sad to read and not to have been made aware by the unhappy individual themselves. We know this to be a minority due to our recent engagement survey results and comments. We only wish to help this person by understanding what has made them feel this way and hope they are brave enough to seek to remedy the situation they find themselves in.

      Pros

      4th generation family company, serious business but plenty of fun to be had along the way. Lots of staff been here 15 years plus which says a lot about the company. strong/supportive/want to develop people in house. 104 years in business so far (1912-2016) well done to all past and present.

      some crazy days but you get that wherever you work, it is all about how you handle it and getting the right support

      Poor management. Too many managers not enough workers, it's an upside down pyramid here and staff massively overworked and definitely not listened too. If your face fits culture

      Our development of a strong and capable leadership team is a key focus for us, the reason why we have invested here is to ensure there is support for everyone. In our recent engagement survey we have seen that actually morale is higher than before with people seeing benefits to the improvement in leadership training and numbers. I am sorry to hear this hasn't impacted positively in your area. We are very keen to listen to everyone about how things are, if you don't feel heard please come and see us in HR and we can help you get your thoughts and feelings heard. Hopefully you also have one to ones each month to raise your concerns?
