Crossover, from my perspective

Pros

I've been working for Crossover for almost a year now and the best thing about this job is the flexibility that it offers. While it is true that you have to work 40 hours a week (any breaks add up to that specified time), you can manage those hours however you want: if you want a long weekend, not to work on a Tuesday or work during the evenings, instead of the mornings, you can totally do that, as you're in charge of your own schedule! You'll never get this much flexibility in a regular office job. More than that, you can work from anywhere you want, as long as you have a stable internet connection: not only you save time on commuting back and forth to the office, but if you decide to work 1 month from the seaside, you can just pack your bags and go! Another positive aspect is the fact that you have access to all the new openings in Crossover and from all end clients. Last, but not least, salaries are high and the payment is transferred on a weekly basis.

Cons

Given the independent contractor agreement, you'll have to pay your own taxes and there is no paid leave, nor medical leave. While you can take time off during holidays, this will be done on your own expense, as it is not paid:) Moreover, there are no annual wage increases or real promotion opportunities. You can, however, apply for other position with a higher hourly rate

Best Remote Experience.

Pros

Crossover is indeed the pioneer in remote possibility and it is an amazing experience to be able to work with briliant minds from all over the world and to be able to work 100% remotely. I am able to create my own schedule, deviate from it in case of an emergency but ensured that every single minute that i do work is clocked and billed, thanks to the WorkSmart system. Working remotely does offer the possibility to spend more time either with my family or doing something that I enjoy and not spending my time commuting or in traffic. The payment is also really good, and I've been working with and for Crossover for close to 1 year now and they have never been late with a payment.

Cons

At this moment we do not receive any payed vacation days or holidays nor any payed medical leave but i am hoping this is going to change soon :)

Pros

One of the biggest reasons and motivation for me to apply and work for a company like Crossover is Work-life balance which is offered to me as a Remote/Global employee. I was thoroughly impressed and liked the professionalism during my interview process. There was complete transparency and the entire hiring process was smooth and on-time. Its been a year that am working for this Company and am blessed & happy to work in this challenging role. It surely helps me to manage my personal and professional life well without even to worry about daily logistics and small little things. It gives me the liberty to manage my working hours as per my choice, deliver results and complete my tasks as per my suitability without being micro-managed by different people or managers. I like the fact that I do not have to waste time taking breaks or being unproductive during my working hrs. Have never faced any issues with regards to pay-outs. I have a wonderful team and Manager to work with which makes it more interesting and a fun place to work!

Cons

Every Company has challenges and issues to face and that is how we grow professionally and make the right choices. Crossover is a young company and definitely has lot of milestones to achieve and am sure we are moving in the right direction in order to become a brand and a successful name in the Industry.
