Pros

I`ve been working in Crossover for several years now and I am still as motivated as I was during the first month. I have a great professional team that encourages me to become better and to learn more involving me in a friendly competition. When you work with the best you don`t have time to relax, you are always motivated to improve your skills. Management is great - I have an autonomy I need but I can always get an advice or guidance in a hard situation. The company is still growing so the processes are changing, challenges are coming so there is no time to get bored or pretend to be working. Every day I feel that I was productive and didn`t waste any second. Just to mention a great flexibility - the position is 100% remote so basically I can work from any place\country. There is no connection to any timezones so I can build my own schedule - if I want to start at 7am - great! At noon - great also! I know when I have meetings and when I have to be online but the rest of the time I distribute as I like.

Cons

As the company is growing and extending rapidly it is a stressful work. You have to be able to adapt and learn fast. Expectations and metrics are high so you always have to be 'in shape'. As you work remotely and nobody standing behind your back it is important to be self-organized otherwise it is easy to relax and stop being productive.

Thank you for your feedback! This is the type of feedback that helps us to handle the stresses of our rapid growth and do so while considering the people and ensuring that they don't get lost in the mix. We agree that our remote model is one of the keys to our success. Since you have been here for a long time, I am sure that you're familiar with our philosophy around work and the fact that high talent needs are going to the cloud. Self-motivation is key, and unfortunately, those who don't fully understand or have under-developed in this key area have a hard time adapting. Those who do not, thrive! We appreciate the need to pay attention, fully, to the feedback we receive, as well. No matter the platform, feedback and resolution are high priorities for us, so please keep it coming. If you have any specific suggestions, please contact us at feedback@crossover.com.

Thank you for your feedback. We think that the WorkSmart tool is a really helpful tool as well. We especially like the analytics that you get, that you may not even think of, that help you to really take a good look at your work and how it helps you and your manager have truly meaningful conversations. We were sorry to hear that the onboarding process was confusing to you, however. That is something that we are working hard to re-invent so that when we get fantastic new team members, like you, we are able to help them feel welcome and at home from day one. Please stay tuned!

Pros

I've been with Crossover for more than a year now. What I love most about working at Crossover is that it allows me to be (to a very large extent) the manager of my time. My experience with traditional office spaces and fixed working hours is that I always felt constrained by micro-managing team leads, background noise and various distractions that would have an impact on my creative juices. - Crossover is still a start up, thus there's plenty of room for growth and innovation - High wage, delivered weekly - Crossover's culture is very transparent and focused on equal opportunities. - In house training to increase productivity - International teams, lots of new stuff to learn - Technologies and projects

Cons

- Some delays in communication between teams
