Pros

Flexible schedule, great team members, ability to work remotely. I have learned a lot about RPO and Sue Marks is an inspiration!

Cons

My team is incredibly overworked and under appreciated. Seems like leadership plays favorites and micro-manages. Very little positive feedback given despite all of the hours and hard work the team puts in. Employee Appreciation event left a bad taste in my mouth, as I was not able to attend so I was told I had to work my normal schedule while it seemed that other teams were told something different. Such a bummer.

Thank you for your honest feedback. We'll be sure to share it with leadership and if Sue Marks is not already reading this, we will be sure to pass along your kind words. On a separate note, we're disappointed to hear that your experience here has been less than ideal, as we truly believe our recruiters are our best assets - you are what makes Cielo so special! We encourage you to reach out to a leader you respect and share your concerns. We want each employee to have a great experience and to feel we are dedicated to professional development.

Pros

- Working from home is the only pro - Flexible time off (not really though)

Cons

- Unrealistic metrics that change every month - the more fills you get, the more your goal will go up the next month. - Awful for your mental health - its amazing how much your mental health improves once you have left the company. - When facing life changing events, there is no support and you'll feel concerned about having a target on your back. - Constant layoffs (or should I say "adjustments") - Procedures from the client would constantly change with nothing provided in writing. - It was clear the client was not happy with Cielo and recruiters are the ones that have to face this. - Prepared to be disappointed when you get your bonus. - Contract length with clients means nothing - No internal mobility/opportunities

Pros

Honestly, I’m not sure there are too many pros, but for the sake of trying to keep my review as fair and valid as possible I will list the few that I have. Note, these pros are more to do with being Remote than the company itself. •Remote means I get to work anywhere I’m able to. On the balcony of my favorite vacation spot, Int the waiting room at the doctors office, or at home in my robe and messy bun. •Flexibility, my team and manager allow us to be flexible for doctors appointments, migraines, or any other inconvenience that may present itself in the day (like the time my bedroom flooded during a storm!!) •Flexible PTO -it’s nice, but it’s more of a scam companies are doing now to make you think you’re valued so they don’t have to give you raises or bonuses. Your FPTO hours are monitored!

Cons

When hired almost three years ago I was told (and this was a company standard) that “if you aren’t ready for a promotion within 9 months then WE [leaders] have done something wrong.” Do XYZ and you’ll be ready. LIES there is little to no growth possible at this company. They just keep telling you to learn more and complete trainings in succeed to keep you distracted and keep hope alive that that promotion is coming. It’s not. •NA jobs are moving out of NA and into Philippines and India. Little to no jobs available internally or externally for NA employees/candidates. •New leadership. Let’s be honest, ever since the company “gained” a new CEO moral has been down 90%, jobs have been down, “raises” and bonuses have been almost non existent and lay offs at an all time high. Mean while leadership gets big fat bonuses and in the words of one of those leaders “I’m hoping for bonuses so I can pay of my wife’s $10,000 living room furniture shopping spree” while the rest of us are just begging for scraps. •Meetings that could have just been an email. No but…seriously! Sooo many meetings that the majority of us do not need to be a part of. •Distrust in leadership and their politician style answers to legitimate concerns •Unfair and well below average pay for TACS and STACS •little to no recourse for employees that don’t do their jobs well. (Ex: if you have employees that have held their title for 3 years but you don’t trust them to train anyone knew bc of their lack of accuracy and efficiency and we are having weekly meetings for process reminders…that’s a problem!!] •Do more for nothing more mentality. Do more trainings, do more audits, do more tasks, but don’t ask for anymore money honey bc you won’t be getting a penny. •merit raises DO NOT keep up with inflation. 3 years and I’m still not to the next dollar amount from where I started. Thanks for the pennies…I’ll by myself a candy bar. •Underpaid and OVERworked!

Hi there this is Molly Thiel, Chief Administrative Officer. I want to address your concerns with a balanced perspective, and I respect your decision not to engage further. While it's true that economic fluctuations can impact our business, I believe it's essential not to make broad assumptions. Regarding the employer awards, we can only claim recognition if it's genuinely earned. These awards are based on rigorous criteria set by external organizations, which include direct surveys and thorough evaluation processes. I understand your frustration and acknowledge your right to express your experience. Every individual's perspective is valid, and I wouldn't discount yours. It's important to recognize that feedback varies, and while some experiences may align with yours, others may not. I genuinely wish you the best in your future endeavors and hope you find a fulfilling employment experience elsewhere. Thank you again for bringing your feedback to our attention.
