Pros

None at all this place will overwork and underpay hugely

Cons

Very cliquey, nasty culture, they almost encourage bullying and put people in positions they are just not qualified for. my manager openly snapped and swore at me loudly and no one batted an eye. You are not allowed to take sick days during the busiest season, even if someone is really really unwell. They expect a 9/10pm finish and you get looked down on for wanting/needing to leave on time.

Pros

Good health benefits. Some good people but they are not rewarded for their efforts. PTO is generous and the SharePlan savings is good but only if stock on the London exchange performs which it has not in recent years.

Cons

This company has a minuscule presence ( especially in the US) and is a minnow in an ocean. Limited to no capacity to handle TPA and adjusting business with a few employees nationwide and very few carrier appointments. Known for their USL&H business which is not growing. There are better places to work. Don't be fooled by new push for adjusting business as there is no way they can compete with the likes of McClarens, Crawford or any one else, ditto for TPA business. If you are thinking about working for them, ask them how many policies they are written into for adjusting. On the TPA side, ask how many states they have representation.

Pros

The company is trying very hard to be a better company. It recognises its short comings and failures (and there are many) and is actively attempting overcome them. This is something to respect. The people are a mixed bag; many are easy company, professional, and knowledgable. There's a drinking culture, team building and a real effort to counter negativity. They are currently in the process of employing new talent and I like the new people. They ooze competence and confidence and large amounts of disbelief . They have a healthy, externally derived culture.

Cons

As a company that grows by expansion rather than winning new customers, it has no coherent plan. It's culture is firmly trapped in the past. A number of managers are bullies. Staff are actively frightened of them. I've seen staff cry. I've had staff come to me so angry I've taken them on long walks and chats until they were calm. Some have been so angry they were shaking. The managers themselves are not immune, they get equally angry. So, the culture is one of abuse and this comes right from the top. Many are being kicked, and turning around and kicking anyone they can. It's sad. New blood aside, It's a nest of second raters. There's nothing to learn here. For a lot of people this is the best thing that's happened to them. Pity em.
