Pros

Casper is a place that values hard work. The team's belief in the product is obvious. The senior management is getting a much-needed boost when it comes to experience since before much of the management was very young. The new office is cool and functional; it's going to lend well to future hiring.

Cons

The overall energy is not great at Casper. People are overworked, the management fumbles lots of times, and the growth seems unnatural for the amount of work there is. There are bursts in hiring and then it slows, making workloads unmanageable. I feel like my career isn't going anywhere here and that there won't be chances for leadership any time soon.

Trash heap!!!

Pros

Free pillows after a month. Free mattress after six months.

Cons

Horrible pay for work that is done. No real potential for growth from retail stores only applies to corporate positions. Unrealistic expectations. Ignored management complaints. Sending out pointless "do better" memos does nothing for team moral. How about giving me a real incentive to work here because the product does not sell it self. Lifting up 90+ pound mattresses is not what I expected to be doing with my life on a weekly basis. Basically the Amazon of the sleep world.

Roller Coaster Ride that Only Goes Descends into the Abyss

Pros

The pros of Casper Sleep are some of the remaining employees. There are many smart, capable and personable people still left that work extremely hard. It's sad that none of that matters because the odds are they will be laid off during the mass layoffs that occur approximately every 6-9 months.

Cons

Oh wow, where to begin? This company can be likened to a roller coaster, except one that only goes down. Massive layoffs here are as regular as the Fast and the Furious films. I highly recommend Casper if you enjoy the thrill of not knowing whether you will have a job tomorrow. The biggest con is upper management. These folks are here for the limelight only and have no business running a publicly traded company. They couldn't lead a rat to a dumpster - which is ironic because that's what this company has become. The worst offender is the CEO, who needs to spend less time getting Botox and filler and more time fixing a collapsing company. This company is so mis-managed that they couldn't even eek out a profit during the pandemic, which should have been a gangbusters year for a retailer focused on home furnishings. In my opinion, Casper will NEVER be profitable and the sooner Wall Street and everyone else is aware of that, the sooner we can all put this place out of its misery.
