      Pros

      Carrier has many platforms of opportunity that can advance your career along with company paid continuing education. There are divisions and plants throughout the United States to go for these opportunites if you wish to relocate.

      Cons

      As in all large corporations, there is bureaucracy and cultures within the groups and divisions and if you are on the outside of those cliques, you will be stuck. Once you are "labelled" it can feel like you have lost control of your career path.

      Part of United Technologies, one of the stronger fortune 100's. Supports continuing education and has a major commitment to quality

      Cons

      Not a diverse workplace, with very few female leaders. There is little employee development and advancement opportunities are limited. Very political environment

      Pros

      There is nothing good about working for Carrier anymore.

      Cons

      Awful experience for employees. Management cut bonuses - guaranteed comp based off company performance. This company made $20B last year and found a way to take advantage of their work force. Things are so tight - all discretionary spending has been cut. We couldn’t even have a Holiday Party last year. All raises and promotions have been suspended for the year. If evaluating between Carrier and another company - choose the other. Maybe they won’t lie to you.
