Overall, great company. Profit sharing is fantastic, company outings for employee recognition, bi-monthly luncheons, amazing Christmas party, great culture, room for growth/promotion from within.

Cons

Training process for some positions is not thorough enough, work/life balance doesn't exist for some positions, taking time off can be a hassle depending on your position.

Great feedback, and from a veteran also. I couldn't agree with you more. We do have a awesome profit sharing plan, Christmas party and Culture. You are correct, while we have made great strides in our training programs there our a few positions we still need to work on. But I really wish we can start to see improvement in the work/life balance part.... we have worked so hard to improve here.... looks like we still have some more to do.....Thanks again -really appreciate the review..... seeing you are a long standing associate and most likely know me personally, if you feel comfortable, drop me a email with some specifics, I'd love to help!

-Sales managers truly care about your success and will do anything to help you -It is truly a team atmosphere. Everyone is on the same page and the other sales consultants are always willing to provide advice. -you can tell that the company really does care about their employees -the atmosphere really makes you feel comfortable which enables you to be yourself -every day is different, and the unknown makes it extremely exciting to go to work

Cons

Everything about this job has been a positive experience, therefore, I don't have any cons to list. Keep doing what you're doing!

Every day was always interesting at CarSense. It is a work environment that definitely has a family atmosphere without being too laid back. There are great channels of communication between the management team and individual employees, which is not something you are going to find at some of the larger branded dealerships. They care about the well-being of their employees, and they will take the time to work with you no matter what situation is at hand. Kurt is definitely on of the coolest bosses I've ever had! I would definitely recommend CarSense to friends and family as a great place to work. Although any job where you're completing repetitive tasks can become mundane, I thoroughly enjoyed and am appreciative of my time at CarSense and I really enjoyed the people I worked alongside.

Cons

Some notes of micro-management at this location, but that is to be expected from any company that is striving for excellence. :)

Thanks for the post, it's always nice to receive positive feedback from a former associate. We do try to create a family atmosphere where everyone knows and cares for one another. I love the idea of lock boxes for vehicles, in fact I just had that conversation with Eric and I think we will be heading in that direction.
