Pros

*They are willing to work with your schedule if you need to change days. *The hours that a sales rep has to work are not too bad. *Most of the people that you work with are awesome. *The company was generous with Christmas parties and profit sharing. *They were very good quarterly with having state of the union communication meetings.

Cons

*Training was horrible, your are told no experience necessary then you are treated like crap when a sales lead leaves because you were poorly trained on how to handle over coming obstacles with customers. *The pay plan is a joke, they work you like a slave and say the sky is the limit for earning capacity. You have to kill yourself to make a decent living without having management down your back. *Upper management is very moody and it creates a hostile working environment when things don't go their way. *Customer service is NOT the focus. Sell, sell, sell is the focus and the customers are a after thought. *Informal feed back is given and no real raise or reviews are given yearly.

About three years ago, I'd say you were right. We have made great strides with our training and are providing a better work life balance. Thanks for the feedback.

Pros

401k profit sharing (10-15k yearly), great co-workers, easy work etc

Cons

They claim to be different then all other car dealers but they aren't. Upper management is very elementary and manipulative. They try to make you believe that you will be nothing once you leave. "What are you gonna do when you finish college? go make $35,000 a year? HAHAHAHA" They are all old car business guys and have no real management skills. If you are selling cars month in and month out, then you are ok. However, once you have a bad month, then you're up the creek without a paddle.
