I took this job thinking it was just a step towards a different job, something I could put on my resume, and make some money while I found what I really wanted to do. I really didn't picture myself in the car business, or being a car sales man, but 4 years later here I am with no intention of going anywhere else. I started as a sales consultant and quickly found why Carsense is unique in its industry. Hardly a car salesman, I tell customers all the time, everyone's buying process is the same as when I sold my own mother a car. I am very thankful to have found a team that can help me grow and develop, work with me through my struggles, and celebrate our successes, while continuing to push and work with integrity. It is all the more exciting to watch newer employees succeed and be excited about where they work, and who they work for, and go through their own transitions with a new family.

Cons

Don't apply if you are looking for a stress free and easy job, you have to be willing to stay late at times, learn new habits, and rely on your co-workers, while being someone your co-workers can rely on.

I have been with the company for almost 8 years, worked in several departments, and have grown every step of the way. I have made lifelong friendships- one of our biggest strengths is our people! I was recently promoted to a management position and love my job and this company. One of the unique things about Car Sense is that they put their employees first- competitive compensation, sizeable PTO, employee luncheons, employee "fun days", and the annual company picnic and holiday parties- things that you rarely see anymore in corporate America! We work hard, but we are constantly rewarded in many different ways! Our company has core values that we abide by and management never wavers from those- and that's an awesome thing! Committed to success of both the company and the employees that make that success possible!

Cons

Provide a more open line of communication for soliciting employee input on ways to improve and grow our business!
