Incompetent upper management. Keeps company in constant turmoil. Worst morale I've ever seen. Upper management buys companies that enrich upper management regardless of whether they are a good fit for Avaya. Usually not. This company is circling the drain. Result is that it becomes a Punish-the-Innocent culture.

no training, no budget for anything unless your in sales, management is forced to rate certain percentage of employees as low, meets or exceeds. If their whole team does really good they still have to find staff to fit these three areas. Those in the low category are first to be laid off. Lay offs happen in small batches quarterly so that it doesn't make the company look bad. Silo-ed responsibilities which leaves an engineer only able to support a couple of products and not easy to move to another company with that knowledge.
