I worked at AC for 16 years as a FA & it was great! Wonderful people , great pay, always travelling . Interviews are hard and you have to be the best

Cons

Management as at all companies haven't a clue what we have to deal with. Wanting you to give more when you already give 110%. A lot of people whom feel they are "entitled" espically in business class even though 95% of them are not paying.. on company points

Pros

Travel perks, able to get away on a whim. Also great benefits for family and friends, and extended family. Have travelled to cities that I would never normally go to.

Cons

Long hours and away from home--layovers are short so it takes a toll on you physically. Jet lag can take a few days to recover from so it's a challenging job with lots of fatigue.

I had a lot of fun with my colleagues and the benefits were amazing. Training was great and really is essential when dealing with emergency situations.

Cons

Very low pay, not enough to cover rent and other expenses if living by yourself with no room mate. Terrible management and company structure. FAs are treated poorly.
