Pros

If you show up and do the bare minimum, you will never get fired, great benefits, relaxed atmosphere, three weeks of vacation, flight benefits after six months

Cons

To any one starting out their career with any sort of ambition - stay away. This is a corporate job where everyone complains about the pay but where people stay for the benefits and low work expectation. The average amount of time people have worked there is 16 years. That means nearly everyone you meet is a manager and there are tons of other people who have worked there a lot longer than you that will be going for higher positions. The pay is so low - with the same credentials you'll be making 10-20k higher elsewhere and that's worth a lot more than the monetary value of the benefits. Salary increase per year is a few percent and it may seem cool to be able to fly standy but keep in mind you have the lowest priority to get on the plane out of the 30k employees out there and you it's not like you have enough vacay to use this benefit enough to make it worth it. They are constantly cutting costs - some people bring their own office supplies and education reimbursement is extremely low compared to any other company. Lastly, the commute sucks for anyone not living in the West Island.

Pros

I have nothing bad to say about this company, It's a wonderful place to work in. The people are professional and always willing to help if you need it. The training program is probably the best in the business as are the instructors.

Cons

Sometimes it is difficult because you have to move to a new base, but there is always a chance to return in time. You must extremely passionate about this job in order to succeed, but in all honesty I wouldn't have it any other way.
