Pros

You work with AT&T, which will use the latest technology available. There is a lot of professional people that you can exchange knowledge with. Resources for testing equipment are good.

Cons

Being a contractor limit people for balancing professional and personal life. You don't get the stability that AT&T offers to the full time employees. Salary is below the average in the market for fully qualified professionals.

Pros

AT&T has good programs that support working remotely and Profit sharing.

Cons

Like with any large company there are many managers who fail to suport you on projects. The managers rather impede your progress to show that they themselves are required to complete projects. This is counter productive for the company. Also, they treat foriegn contractors and consultants better than the native American staff that are full time employees.

Pros

Salary and benefits are pretty good for the telecommuncations industry.

Cons

Company is not focused on customer service. They only focus on performance measurement (all of which are pretty useless b/c they can be manipulated).
