Pros

Make your own schedule, paycheck once a week, pretty good benefits. Decent entry sales position if you don't mind door knocking every day. Industry leading name.

Cons

Awful pay plan, 100% commission with charge-backs. Some technicians did not care for their sales reps. The sales reps were expected to act as technicians in some instances. The resale position becomes more like a collector than a sales job; you definitely will deal with some sketchy people. The supposed dollar amount for hitting sales goals is way off

Good opportunity to get bonus. Good hours , guaranteed 40 hrs whether worked or not. Good benefits.

Cons

Deceptive about upcomming changes. Represent good intentions then totally do opposite of what was represented. Lack of recognition. Keep yoou in the dark about major changes. Money hungy. Dosen't hear you out

Pros

ADT is the most experienced security company in America, only one to have gov't contracts (and is protecting Smithsonian, Ft. Knox, Pentagon, etc.), and has been selected by 450 of 500 of the Fortune 500 companies as their security company. Management is flexible and very helpful.

Cons

ADT is a lot more expensive than the competition. There are plenty of clients that recognize the quality of ADT but most people are looking at the bottom line - especially in this economy.
