Sears Cashier interview questions

You apply online and they automatically set up an interview time. You can also apply in the store from the store computers. It is difficult to find where your interview is supposed to be, but just ask someone and they will show you. You generally have to wait up to 30 minutes from the scheduled time because they are very busy. You are interviewed by the cashier manager who asks you if you are capable of selling credit, and always say YES! This is the biggest part of your job.

I did not know what to expect at all. It was a series of questions based on past experiences and handling retail situations. The interviewer was nice and understanding if I didn't have an answer right at that moment. I could tell that the woman was listening to everything that I had to say and she basically gave me the floor rather than interrupting me. The office I interviewed in was small and intimate. I was basically about 3 feet away from her sitting in a chair. I was given a very positive view of the store and the people who worked there.
