      Fearing for our jobs

      Remote work, Lower level managers tend to be good people

      We don't know who will be let go next. We are all fearing for our jobs. We were told after mass layoffs in September that, if we haven't been laid off yet, it was because we played an important role in the future of the company. What we didn't know was that "important role" was training the "flex team", a team of overseas contractors who get low pay and no benefits, to replace us. Now more of our staff have been let go - some via VOICEMAIL MESSAGE. We trained our own replacements. Absolutely despicable.

      Remote work environment is convenient

      If you'd like to develop a case of debilitating anxiety, this is the place for you. This organization fires people without cause, you'll be constantly looking over your shoulder wondering if you're next. The HR department alone has a turnover rate of over 50%. The CHRO in particular is completely unqualified and unintelligent. He is the worst leader I have ever had the unfortunate experience to work under and breeds a corporate culture of panic, anxiety and confusion. Don't just walk, run as fast as you can away from this place. I actually witnessed them fire a woman who was 9 months pregnant without cause because they didn't want to pay her maternity leave.

      Remote work is nice. Adjustable schedule

      Cons

      Virtual world is weird. It takes a toll on your social skills in real life. The higher ups are liars. They said "no layoffs" in recent meeting then go on and layoff hundreds on employees with no notice. I got invited to a 3:00 meeting at 2:20. I arrived to the meeting. The higher ups were 15 minutes late and let us all go with no notice or reasoning. Don't trust the ENPS surveys. Nothing is anonymous. Pay doesnt cover cost of living. Dead end job
