Pros

Great product, steady flow of inbound leads, always stuff to call, can make great money as an SDR

Cons

Toxic work environment. Management routinely requires SDR's to work 14 hour days. Forces SDR team to work late to hit metrics, made us compete with each other to get holidays off. We were cold-calling on Christmas and competing with each other to shave hours off our workday. Routinely forced to work weekends. They truly do not care about their people. We were all told that our mental health was of the utmost importance during the pandemic, but then were forced to work over 50 hours per week.

Thank you for your feedback. Our SDR team has great income opportunities, and it’s the ideal platform to jumpstart a career in tech sales. We have many current employees in leadership positions that began their ZoomInfo careers as SDRs. The nature of the position is that it is volume-based, and you get out what you put in; however, we would like to point out that working on Christmas is on a volunteer basis only. We create competitions with awesome spiffs, including shares of company stock, to make the work more fun. We are disappointed that this did not translate to a positive experience for you. Thanks again for taking the time to leave your thoughts, and we wish you the best in your future endeavors. – The ZoomInfo Employee Experience Team

Pros

Competitive pay. Amazing CEO. Opportunity for growth. Inspirational leadership. Opportunity to earn equity in one of the fastest-growing companies in the world. Can make easily $100k in <2 years starting at an entry-level SDR role and then moving to AE. Winning culture constantly defining new possibles every day/month/quarter/year. You will develop GTM mastery to truly help companies scale and grow their GTM efforts. Data and process-driven in everything we do. Zoominfo is the best tool in the market and at times it feels like it can sell itself. Leadership is transparent about how we do things and why and always willing to sit down and provide as much clarity as possible. Even Henry, the CEO makes himself available. Zoominfo truly is a rocketship of a company and it's moving very fast. If you aren't willing to go all out when it's needed this probably isn't the right company for you. If you are looking for people who inspire you and push you to do better and do greater things then you will fall in love with Zoominfos' culture of winning and defining new possibles.

Cons

Can be considered cons to some... Extremely fast-paced. Very competitive when it comes to spiffs and promotions. Onboarding can feel like you are drinking from a firehose at times. High expectations to perform and work hard. You can't hide from metrics. Promotions are earned not given based on tenure or experience. Most of the sales org (AE, AMs, CSM, Leadership, etc) started in the SDR role.

Pros

If you care about a collaborative work environment with professionals passionate about their craft, come to ZoomInfo. You'll be surrounded by hard working, fun loving colleagues who genuinely support each other day in and day out towards excellence. ZoomInfo tries hard every day to connect with it's employees and goes the extra mile despite the remote stance. I feel a true sense of caring and belonging here. It's software/SaaS so inherently it's fast-paced. But I feel an amazing sense of accomplishment here at the end of every day. And I know I want to be here for years, not just quarters. I seek to fold into this culture and both learn from and add to it. They've made it clear they embrace EVERYONE at ZI. I challenged them during the interview on race issues and sexual orientation and they had a declared position on plus they backed it up with demonstrated actions. If you're seeking perfection, go elsewhere. ZoomInfo is not perfect, nor does it try to be. It simply tries to get 1% better every day and asks us to do the same. I can get on board with this agreement. Can you? If so please come join us. We're growing and we need YOUR energy here now.

Cons

Because ZoomInfo values the in person energy that comes with being in the office there's multiple approaches available for the post pandemic return to normal. If you're someone who never wants to be in an office working with colleagues again you may not gravitate to our culture. We want to be among each other, even if not a full 40 hours each week in the future. I don't consider it a con, but you might.

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback and for articulating the values that define ZoomInfo. The drive towards excellence you mentioned is something our employees embrace and that energy has fueled our incredible growth. We get 1% better each day because we support each other, learn from each other, grow and celebrate together. As you said, we like being together and thrive in a collegial, collaborative environment. Our Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion programs strengthen our workplace and ensure all voices are heard. That's how we innovate and Define New Possibles. We can't wait to come back together this summer in our new hybrid remote working model. Thanks again for sharing your thoughts! -Paige, Employee Experience
