Lots of room to grow - good company
Pros
I've been there for over a year and I really don't have any complaints. The company strikes a good balance between being fun and professional. The company is growing quickly right now, and I've personally seen a lot of people I onboarded with get promoted. So it is true when they say there is room for growth. The job can be tough, and of course your managers push you to hit your number, but they are pretty supportive and I've never seen anyone act unprofessionally. In my experience, the sales leadership team all the way up from managers to the VP, is a really solid group. Selling the industry leading product is definitely a plus. The strong product market fit, and the growth trajectory that this company is on, make it a good place to be, given the economic uncertainty.
Cons
This probably is not company specific, and is a challenge that every enterprise sales org deals with, but every one has a quota, and at the end of the day that is the only thing that matters. Everyone from individual contributors to VPs have targets they have to hit, and hitting that number is the primary driver of behavior. People might pay lip-service to mental health and all that, but you are definitely expendable. Again, this might be unavoidable, and is arguably the way it should be, but it can just feel a little dishonest. Maybe that's what it takes to keep the ship running.
