Cons
SDR team- they’re starting to hold us back They book anything with a pulse, mostly unqualified demos across the board. There is no regard for qualification or quality at all and it’s killing the new business team. We are told to prospect, which I get but we wouldn’t have to if the SDR team and New Business team had alignment. Companies with sales teams of 5 don’t get touched for months while 1 person bad fits are repeatedly hammered. They tell prospects we do things we don’t do at all just to hopefully get to complete. Lots of bad fit companies that won’t ever be our customer. There is no incentive for an SDR to book a higher quality meeting, they’re constantly hammered for volume and it’s not lining up at all. This is really holding back the business and it’s taking up all the time of the AEs so we cannot focus on higher quality companies with sales teams that can convert.
