Pros

They give you unlimited pto but you never really get to use it

Cons

Too many to name. Massive lay offs, seems like they hire to boost their numbers at the end of the quarter then turn around and lay you off, micromanaging is rampant, upper-management is cold, going to regular managment gets you nowhere, over promise and underdeliver should be their name. Would never work here again.

Thank you for leaving us a review - we take all feedback seriously and work to make thing 1% better every day! We are constantly evaluating the organization, ensuring that we have the right people in the right roles to drive our long-term growth and success. And, you are correct that we still continue hiring in key parts of the company, mainly in sales, while we look to drive efficiencies around the organization. We are sorry your experience was less than great and we wish you the best of luck in your next endeavor.

Employee retention is not a priority for management

Pros

Most employees are hard-working and the culture is good overall.

Cons

- Management has been mistreating employees left right and center since the tech crisis started. They promised there won't be layoffs, but 2 weeks later they laid off a bunch of people, without acknowledging it, taking responsibility for it, or even informing everyone. - Recently management mandated everyone within 30 miles of an office into the office 3 days a week. Including employees who were hired as remote employees. Employee retention is clearly not a priority for them at this time. All of my colleagues are VERY upset about this change, which is likely to result in the company being able to only hire engineers who have no other choice. - The offices themselves are operated very poorly and are located in tier 3 markets with a long commute. They stopped even providing lunch on office days. - Benefits are definitely below market for a tech company, as is compensation. - The company definitely struggles to attract top engineering talent, which they do not seem to be particularly concerned about. - Top management is highly disorganized and goals are changing on a weekly basis, literally.

Hey there, Chad Herring here, CHRO of ZoomInfo. I appreciate that you care enough to jot down your experience. Employee retention is absolutely a priority for us and sometimes, we have to change team sizes. Some teams shrink while others grow to match our strategic priorities – just like what happened in January. And whenever we do have to decide to exit someone involuntarily, my team reviews and approves to make sure it's based on objective criteria. In our Return to Office announcement, we stated that if someone was hired fully remote, they can stay fully remote. If someone applied to and was approved to be fully remote while they were working here, they can also stay fully remote. Furthermore, our company goals only adjust twice per year to best hit our strategic goals. Thanks again for taking the time to leave feedback and don’t hesitate to reach out to me if you have any additional thoughts on how we can do better.

Pros

Everyone at the company is friendly and willing to help out. There is healthy competition that makes it fun within teams. My favorite is that they lay out several paths that you can go down to succeed. From someone working in startups his entire life, the structure is super clear which sets expectations from the start. Not only do you have a great system for moving up, but you have the opportunity to move laterally in the company as well. Zoominfo puts a heavy emphasis on promoting from within and giving you the role that best suits your skills so you can be of the highest value to yourself and the company.

Cons

My first time being in a corporate office in my life and it's a bit overwhelming at times. Sometimes hard to focus in the office. It's a hybrid role so only 2 days a week so not that bad.
