I heard ZD did not hit numbers in Q12013 and had to shut down European HQ as well as layoffs in Carlsbad. The company has declined and lost market share to other players and is struggling to stay in the game with aggressive discounting and disparate deals that are not sustainable. President Harold Flynn and executive team has made some big mistakes with picking wrong business partners for new technologies including Sterngold,, Hemcon, and digital dentistry partner Zfx.
