      Aside from good employees, few pros to mention. Some great people to work with.

      Cons

      Memo from President/CEO informing San Diego employees that there will be no raises for 2016. So nice to be recognized and rewarded for hard work and dedication.

      Pros

      You'll work with some of the smartest people in microscopy, and with some of the most innovative optical products. There is hope that things will get better. The family feeling is still present, but (see cons sectioni) waning.

      Cons

      You'll also work with some of the biggest and most aggressive bullies. This comes from the top-down and is pervasive in the sales side. Lying, deceit and backstabbing are the norm. Massive exodus coming - some by force, many by choice. Commission plan has been steadily deteriorating. Sell more to make less - double your territory's revenue to make half of what you made last year.

      Managers spend the entire day plotting against other managers who they have a personal dislike for. Does not support staff. Clique environment
