1) Engineers - If you want to work on cool stuff with hi-energy motived people, this is NOT the place for you. 2) If you enjoy some of the following, I am sure they are hiring: Low pay, no perks, low employee morale, very slow-paced, sh*t loads of stupid paperwork. 3) Very high turnover of people. 4) Because of the above, they aren't able to hire the smartest and brightest. So, you end up having to work with people who have limited skills, interpersonal and technical - this includes management.

The people who actually do work - get over loaded with work beyond capacity of what a hardworking person can accomplish in their 8 hour day. Then others in the departments - either sit on social media, paying their bills, buying pet supplies, etc - and texting with their other hand - all day - then the ones who are never at their desk - maybe if they were given a large work load like some get -maybe they would be doing A job.... there is a very large communication gap between managers and the workers. Many upper management - would not lower themselves to speak to you - with you standing right next to them. Very disturbing how they can actually act like that. I would never recommend working at such a place - RUN - believe me - it is NOT worth wasting your time. Get a real job - where you are appreciated for your hard work and effort and you can reap the benefits of getting a decent salary that you can afford to live on - very low salaries for most employees at Zeiss.
