      Pros

      Good health benefits, especially with the vision insurance (Duh!). Friendly co-workers (most of them). Well-known company that looks good on résumé.

      Cons

      Management is oblivious to employee issues, no direction, training or opportunities to grow. Stressful environment. Struggling financially, so every year they cut down on benefits and perks.

      Pros

      This company is based in Germany, 80% of the products are very well built. Its fun to work with the scientific community and see things many people only read about.

      Cons

      Not very well run company in the USA. Good ol boy network gets in the way of common sense in almost every decision. Micromanaging to the point of gridlock.
