Pros

Friendly support staff, easy to use text editor.

Cons

TERRIBLE PAY, LONG HOURS, UNREALISTIC EXPECTATIONS Wonder expects you to complete a research assignment within 90 minutes. I have never accomplished this. An average assignment takes me 2 - 4 hours to complete, but I have spent 6 hours on one project and earned $15. I have made between $4 - $15 per project, or $0 for rejected submissions. I have never been granted the opportunity to revise or edit my work to ensure payment. I read on the Wonder site that they charge $75 for a research response. It is unjust that the researcher receives such a small portion of revenue. Forget Wonder and find a company that will value your labor.

Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback. We've set prices across the platform to reflect 2-3 hours of research time and to allow analysts to comfortably earn $15-$20/hour. I'd be happy to talk in more detail about how you can use Wonder more effectively --> drop me a line at research@askwonder.com

Pros

Choosing your own hours is the only pro

Cons

Working for hours on a request, then getting paid NOTHING for the time spent on it. That's 2hrs of work for $0. Following guidelines to make sure the request is up to "Wonder standards" only for the reviewer to deny it. The research asked for by clients is information that people pay databases for in the region of $100-1000s of dollars, and you are being paid (if you even get paid) 10$ for.

Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback. We do have a process in place if you feel a review was off-base; we'll independently assess it and then make sure you're fully compensated if any reviewer errors were made. That said, we are also planning some changes to the review process which sound like more of what you'd be looking for. I'd be happy to share more details --> drop me a line at research@askwonder.com

So frustrating!

Pros

Flexible schedule. If you are just enough of a perfectionist to get everything grammatically correct, but not a stickler for details, you may do well.

Cons

Feels like I'm banging my head against the wall! I keep getting assignments where the sourcing is pitiable, the technical support is nonexistent, and the jobs take three times as long as they're supposed to! I am usually a perfectionist when it comes to writing and accuracy, but, by the time I have spent three hours on a tedious subject and still do not have the results I want due to lack of proper information and a system that seem extremely outdated, I just turn in the work I have. And get paid $4-8...
