Pros

Benefits, people, and time off

Cons

They used to care about the people that worked at Wise, but with the new management, especially on the CS, people, and engineering teams they are failing to remember that their employees are the ones who got them here and treating them like chess pieces as opposed to human beings will be their downfall.

Pros

Great people, nice office in Tallinn

Cons

Not a place where workers are valued anymore. Unreaistic work-life balance and ever developing even more difficult product.

Pros

The people are great - friendly, open, and a pleasure to work with. The office space is thoughtfully designed, modern, and comfortable, with great amenities like a sauna, fun floor, rooftop terrace, and well-stocked kitchens. The company offers comprehensive perks and benefits, including the flexibility to take time off beyond regular vacation days. The option for home office and remote work makes it even better.

Cons

When considering the drawbacks of my experience at this company, the heavy workload can be quite overwhelming, and unfortunately, the compensation doesn't always align adequately with the effort and dedication required. It's disheartening to observe that competitors offer higher pay while maintaining a less intense workload, accentuating the disparity. Additionally, there are noticeable issues with transparency and communication from management, resulting in confusion and a sense of disconnection among employees. Despite having concerns and providing feedback, there are instances when our voices don't seem to receive the attention they deserve. Furthermore, when new responsibilities are assigned, there is little discussion about fair compensation adjustments, leaving a prevailing sense of being undervalued. Overall, it often feels like management makes changes that mostly impact us, not them. But the thing is, they don't involve us in the conversation, creating a feeling of being left in the dark, where the decision-making process seems distant from the team, and it widens the gap between leads and their teams.
