Pros

While there is a lack of a career advancement path, my boss has given me opportunities laterally

Cons

Working with SFO is not fun - my experience has been they are adversarial, not team oriented, no accountability. Outside of SFO, within IT, morale is really poor. Unspoken expectation to burn the midnight oil.

Poor leadership

Business Outlook

Pros

Service provided to customers to send money to support loved ones.

Cons

Revenue obsessed leadership, speaking of customers is an afterthought. Leadership wishes to make it sound as if they value customers, though in true light its only valuing the bottom line. Programs such as WU Way are nothing but smoke and mirrors.

Thank you for sharing your feedback and congratulations on more than 10 years with WU! We’re pleased to see that you agree that we have a wonderful purpose: moving money for better! However, we are disappointed to read your comments regarding leadership and our WU Way. We strive to put our customers at the heart of EVERYTHING we do and we are proud to have an environment that respects our employees with their diverse cultures, backgrounds, and perspectives. Our WU Way, changing the way we work to deliver a better customer experience and drive growth for the company, requires a shared responsibility to continuously improve our collaboration, communication, and culture. As we continue to help influence positive change across our organization, we will share your comments with the appropriate teams.
