Pros

Some of the team was nice

Cons

A new manager was bought in to look after the team. She appears to think that is it okay to bully staff that don't comply to what she wants, particularly if they are a younger women. She actively works against other women who are at a lower level as her. She tried to use my health issues against me as a reason to get me fired, even though she was a major cause of the health issues due to the stress working under her. When bought forward to HR they didn't really try to help as I said I was not taking legal action. Since I have left, I have found out other members of staff have had the same issues, so the same behaviour is still being accepted in the company. WSP didn't even bother with a leaving interview.

Pros

- Great access to resources, including variety of software to develop essential engineering skills. - Friendly admin staff. - Best place to upskill for 2 years and LEAVE.

Cons

- Engineers-in-Training (EIT) are often overworked and underpaid when compared to market value. - EITs have to demand salary increases or resign first to receive a fair value offer. - Provided a promotion in title only but not salary. - Management and senior staff is severely misguided and does not understand the millennial working force. - At most, you'll get 3 % increase every year for staying loyal but new hires will get 30%. - There is no point of staying loyal and they have little to no interest in employee retention. - High turnover. - Lots of lipservice about work culture and work life balance but no real action. - Management talks too much about change and does too little.

Pros

Not many , large/cool projects

Cons

Holy cow way way way to many to list would , could fill a book. Here are just some: Huge company and want to double in size in 3 yrs by buying b.c they can’t grow organically. IT, HR and accounting outsourced to India , it’s a nightmare , can’t bill for months. Takes three weeks to open a project! Terrible middle management on a local level. Terrible senior management up to ceo, don’t care at all about thier employees just a number but will tell you they do . They have to throw money/raises around to keep people and then complain that margins are low. Managememt by spreadsheet útil/margins no sense of how work is done. Lots of bullying on the management level They send senseless surveys on thoughts/how they can do better only to ignore them. Constant reorg and constant intergration of new companies , 5k people leave, they buy 10k compa y and wow they still have 5k left
