Pros

Flight Benefits. Priority Code is S3C, which is one level above S4 (Buddy Pass). Although, the priority code is low for DGS employees, its better than not having any flight benefits. If you travel internationally, you should not have any issues. I wish DGS would provide S2 and S3 status like Delta does for their entry-level position employees.

Cons

DGS claims to have an open door policy. Unfortunately, this is not true. If you are to express any concerns, regardless if its about safety, working conditions, FMLA, expect to be retaliated against by local and corporate management. This company promotes those that are good at covering up poor working conditions and safety violations.Extremely high turnover rate. Most employees that are hired, quit within a month or two. Long-term employees are typically minorities from third world countries without much work experience outside DGS, so they have no choice but to stay and be abused.

Terrible Management

Pros

I wish I could say there were pros but after being there for 5 years unfortunately I can’t think of one.

Cons

Terrible management, I would stay away from this company at this specific location (San Jose, CA) SJC. This place is extremely toxic, there is fights and almost 95% of the people don’t like each other. Managers are NEVER there for their employees they are always locked in their office doing nothing. They don’t accommodate your schedule if you have school. After working 5 years there I got fired because I couldn’t work a morning shift because I told them I had school in the mornings. This company is very very unprofessional and they need new managers that actually know what they are doing. There is a lot of bullying that goes on in this job and when HR is contacted nothing ever happens unfortunately.

Pros

Absolutely nothing worth writing about. Not even the flight “benefits” The benefits are only good if you are going to a slum/trash city in the middle of the week. Otherwise you are one step above buddy list status. You aren’t even recognized in Delta’s system as an employee.

Cons

It’s a job, and something to do. Crap pay. Horrible communication They are thee most unorganized business in the land of businesses Don’t let the name of Delta fool you. The Delta employees look at you and treat you like a red headed step child. The flight benefits aren’t worth it. You’ll end up spending more money trying to fly standby than just buying a ticket in advance. Oh and your flights aren’t free, you pay for them, up front, and if you don’t get on your flight you have to request a refund and re-list
