Don't Give a Sh't = DGS

Pros

Flight benefits are one step above a Buddy Pass. Good luck trying to board a flight. They take 25% of the bill rate in exchange for this one benefit. There is no time off at all nor will they negotiate with you.

Cons

Although Delta Air Lines owns this company, they are treated nothing like Delta employees. This is the part Delta doesn't tout in the news. Delta is a racist company, who also discriminates against people over the age of forty. So if you are experienced and older they will make you go through DGS to get hired. The employees treat DGS workers like second class citizens and they think it is ok to do that. There is absolutely no intention to hire once you become DGS you won't be converted to Delta as it is against their best interest and why they bought a Staffing Company! United Airlines, American, Southwest, nor Jetblue owns a staffing company. So I guess that is the advantage. Delta could care less about their DGS Staff, thanks a lot Ed Bastian!!!!!!!!

Pros

Decent Flight Benefits Great Health Ins for Employee

Cons

Pay is so low, you cannot support a family, flight benefits are great, but when you cannot afford a hotel when you get there. You login into Deltanet, see Delta employees getting raises and profiting sharing and we get nothing, DGS is nothing but a sweat shop.

Pros

Flight benefits(not priority) If you are retired or well off this will work for you until the reality of what your colleagues that are (Mainline are getting in salary and compensation)

Cons

Senior Management absolutely and categorically do not care about your Delta Mainline/DGS comparison complaints. DGS is set up to hire and train 18-mid 20 year old ready reserve and limited part-time inexperienced individuals. Research shows that this demographic group are corporately ignorant because of inexperience and do not group think, which is leveraged against them at DGS paying low hourly rates, limited time off, no profit sharing, low standby priority, parallel seniority schemes that don't cross to mainline., While yet performing at the same level of professionalism and required training as Delta Mainline employees. YOU WILL WORK FOR LESS PAY AND BENEFITS and the revenue that your station generates from your labor and efforts will go into the DAL coffers THAT WILL BE DISTRIBUTED IN THE FORM OF ANNUAL PROFIT SHARING TO MAINLINE EMPLOYEES AT A RATE OF 10 TO 20% OF THEIR BASE SALARY DEPENDENT OF ANNUAL DELTA PROFITS!!!! Delta customer service also receive customer survey bonuses that are loaded onto a Delta Visa credit card.
