Pros

Co-workers are good, fun people.

Cons

I’ve worked in customer service for 10+ years and by far the worst company to work for. They don’t value their employees. *Hired as part-time, but you’ll work 5-6 days a week. Working full-time hours but not getting full-time benefits. *Low starting wage and no raises. *Supervisor pay is low and are still kept at “part-time” with full-time responsibilities, but again without the benefits. *Can be mandatory called in on your days off or get written up if you refuse to come in on your day off. *Have classes or a second job? You’ll be forced to miss them if you’re asked to stay an extra shift because someone called out or you’ll get written up. *You get 1 PTO hour for every 30 hours worked. PTO is both sick and holiday pay. Terrible. *No one is able to use their flight benefits because they work so much again as PART-TIME. *You are responsible for coverage of your shifts when you take vacation days even if it’s PTO days. Non-PTO days off are frowned upon. *Zero work life balance *Training is very hands off and not accommodating. You sit in the break room with everyone and can barely hear training videos. No headphones provided or appropriate seating. *Management has been known to be retaliatory if you transfer to another airline by withholding badge. *Turn over rate for employees is high.

Pros

- Part-time work options. - Delta flight benefits (though still pay taxes on each flight, even domestically). - Many wonderful and hard-working co-workers

Cons

- Poor communication from management to employees. - Poor training of managers, supervisors & employees. - Supervisors and a manager who demean employees when concerns are brought to their attention. - The applicability of company policy depends upon whether or not an employees is favored by a supervisor/manager. - Neither team leads nor supervisors are trained in healthy communication, conflict resolution, and are not on the same page about Unifi or Delta's cabin service goals and standards. - New management has not developed positive relationships with supervisors in order to create "buy in" for their new agenda, which has led to even more variation between supervisors actions and loose implementation of policy. - Most employees seem fearful of getting reprimanded by whomever their superior is, and their fear causes poor behavior and has contributed to a very negative work culture. - Many employees to not feel comfortable reporting on-the-job injuries. - When management feels frustrated, they punish by taking away privileges (i.e. shift swapping, etc.) instead of clearly communicating expectations and holding accountable only the employees who struggles to follow policy. The toxic work culture, miscommunication, and lack of respectful actions and words are all matters that can be corrected with well-trained and well-intentioned station leadership. Some of the supervisors and team leads seem capable of learning healthy ways to lead and supervise employees.

Pros

Flight benefits, Health & Dental Benefits, 401K, in house training facilities

Cons

Onboarding process is your average 2 week training…… but break it down into 3 months. Orientation one day, training next week, random 2 day training the following…. Oh look another training the week after that. This process gives prospective onboarding employees the impression that this is a disorganized company. It also doesn’t help with employee retention, this process makes people loose interest in the job because we have real life to deal with… bills and children. We can’t afford to play around and make $100 a week for 3 months straight. It’s unethical.
