Pros

Loved working for this company. I want to start off by saying that I probably would not have left if I didn't get offered another opportunity. The company itself has great motives and an awesome work ethic. Upper management is energetic and really knows how to motivate its employees. I can honestly say that going into work everyday was very enjoyable. If you love dealing with people and you like the idea of creating relationships while service customers, then this could be the job for you. I wont lie, I was only there for a less then a year and I can honestly say that the company had many sales people coming and going. which made me wonder

Cons

Because this is a franchise, the corporate heads sometimes don't understand the value of a localized market. (take a product, copy and paste that formula to every branch and hope for profitability) I don't think the company spends much time analyzing sales opportunities based on certain regions. The branch that I worked at had a lot of pitfalls because the houses we serviced did not meet the criteria needed to service them. I understand that a franchise should have consistency. But, you are alienating certain people from what good be a great service. As a sales rep it was hard when you came across a customer that needed a service very badly but we are unable to sell it because the house did not qualify. They expect customers to go along with there methods of treatment as the only option when sometimes its really not the best things for them and deep down you know that but your not allowed to say anything. Differently restrictions when it comes to sales. Its pretty bad when you have so many ideas that you cant execute because you cant get any support from management or the shoot you down altogether. The regional manager should fired in my opinion. I understand his back story and appreciate how skilled he is in sales. But honestly, he has no insight into what the customers are complaining about. Open your eyes and leave your office every once in a while and maybe start listening to your employees more. The men and women on the battlefield getting first hand information that completely gets ignored because, "thats doesn't fit in well with corporate"

Pros

Great training programs, probably one of the best in the industry. The benefits are below average, but still adequate, as long as nothing major happens.

Cons

Just about everything. The training and orientation paint this wonderful picture, but once you are there a couple of months, you find out how bad it is. This company has severely gone downhill since Truly (Mr. Nolen CEO) has stepped back his active role in the company due to health problems. The current President (Truly's son Scott) is clueless as to what is going on. His VPs manipulate him and keep him in the dark, as to what goes on from the Districts and below at the branch levels. There is a serious lack of REAL, QUALITY management and leadership from the district management on up. You are only as good as your last achievement, otherwise you are just an expendable number. The turnover is tremendous, and they never take ownership of it, they continue to blame the employees, instead of looking at themselves. They say people quit managers, not companies, but somehow their own message gets lost on them. Don't get me wrong, there are a few District managers that are awesome, but unfortunately, they keep incompetent DMs just because they blindly follow the VP without question, even though they know it's the wrong thing to do. I resigned from this company, as many before me and after me have done due to their severely incompetent management. Why else do you think they are constantly running ads and hiring. STAY AWAY, unless you are hard up for any job.
