I am hoping someone from Body Shop management read this. I am getting increasingly concerned about my daughter having to lone work in this city centre store. To me this is unsafe working practice. Due to staff holiday / sickness / staff levels my daughter who will remain anonymous has had to work lone shifts (sometimes all day). I am very concerned about her safety. She has had very little training for the duties she is now expected to cover. On several occasions I have had to travel to the store when she is closing the store as the area is very intimidating. To my knowledge there has been no formal training to cover what would happen in the event of an emergency and I doubt any sort of risk assessment (which is a legal requirement) has taken place.
