Pros

If you care about education at all in the United States, Teach For America will turn your interest into a passion and push you to achieve real change.

Cons

Honestly there weren't many. I really loved the company. The only downside is if you were not actually a member of the Corps advancement may be difficult at first.

Pros

You are very tied to what corps members are accomplishing in the classroom, even if you're not in a regional office

Cons

Things here are very institutionalized. Changing the many systems under which the organization operates is difficult, even at senior levels
