      Pros

      The culture at Teach For America is very collaborative and everyone is very dedicated to its mission and core beliefs.

      Cons

      Titles are very inflated and it is difficult to get hired into the organization. There is a lot of "supply" of candidates who would like to work there.

      Nice laptop, very happy go lucky staff that were all about change, but didn't really know what they were doing.

      Cons

      Very poor management at TFA. I wish that there was more oversight of the managers and more training for managers to be better.

      Hardest job straight out of college

      Pros

      Interacting with kids everyday is certainly not boring Teach for America provides wonderful support for first-year teachers in tough schools TFA has a fabulous network of graduate schools and employers You learn so much about the American education system.

      Cons

      Salary is low, but what else do you expect for public school, inner-city teaching Inner-city schools are tough, not so much because of the kids, but because of the lack of support from the school district administrators
