Pros

If you want to go into education, law, or policy it is a great place to start your career. However if you want to go into business, it is not very helpful.

Cons

It is extremely challenging. Teach inner city students is very hard. You have to be willing to put up with a lot. It is extremely tiring, and hard to feel like you are making a difference.

Pros

TFA provides wonderful support and feedback for developing teachers, which is wonderful in both years of your teaching commitment. Training is excellent.

Cons

Very "kool-aid" esque feel. Many people are so irrational about the achievement gap that it's tough to have a serious and critical conversation with them.
