Pros

The only one I can think of with is the coworkers that went through it with me.

Cons

The absolute worst part of this job is that most of us signed up to help people who went through a disaster and I believe this company actually made it worse and got help to the people slower because of how disorganized they are. As an American I would rather move out of the country than deal with the people that the government outsourced the job of assisting victims to. People probably died because of their lack of organization to help those that truely needed it the most. This is the most unproffessional place I have ever seen. The management staff (a title they do not deserve) spent more time gossiping and making fun of the employees because of their own insecurities then working. They yell in the faces of their employees. They use profane language. They don't even know the material they are supposed to be coaching you on. They refuse to take escalated calls. Only 1 of the 4 paychecks I recieved was correct. The building is filthy the employees dress more appropriate than management. We are all talked to like we are children. "Managements" hygene is below disgusting. If you wanted to be late just make sure you are sleeping with your boss and she will falsify your time. It took me over a month to get fully paid for my 2 days of training. One of the heavy set leads liked to degrade employees in front of everyone on the floor except for the one she was having inappropriate relations with. Every time you got up you had to tell them where you were going. You are treated like a child and it's a toxic place to work. There is no coaching, development, leadership or performance counseling. If you are smarter than them they will fire you with no warnings or talks. Then they will violate state law and keep your money until they feel like paying you. I talked to at least 6 people in "management" to get paid for training and nothing was done until I called payroll on my own. If you want a job or career that has leadership that treats you with respect and pays you when they are supposed to then do not work for Teletech.

Pros

The checks are on time

Cons

They like to harass and intimidate you when you want to better yourself outside of the company. The training is barely adequate. The tools you have to work with often don't work. They are definitely not customer centric. Their clients seem to not care about providing agents with adequate tools or power to use them. It's a very uncomfortable working environment. The metrics that they guage an agents performance by have little to do with providing unsurpassed customer service they seem to settle for adequate. If you happen to aspire to do the best to provide exemplary customer experience and create brand loyalty you are advised that their clients doesn't care about retaining customers just merely meet metrics. Management is not receptive to constructive suggestion. They have an arrogant culture.
