Pros

Because you are all in the same bad environment, you create a particular bond with your colleagues. I can tell you that you are making friends for life working at this company! If you like working in Immigration, that is a very interesting job.

Cons

-You will not receive a training when arriving in the company. They do not train you and expect you to know everything very quickly. When there is a mistake, they will blame you telling you that they told you. They will then remove money from your monthly bonus in order to cover the mistakes. They will not teach you how to not make the mistake anymore which does not make you progress. -You will need to examine your payslips very carefully as there is often mistakes (of course minus, never bonus) and fight to recover your money. -You will need to deal with managers that are not a good example to follow as they are talking very badly to the customers themselves. The managers are incompetents and when there is an unhappy customer, they ask you to go see him because they are afraid of facing a very angry customer (they are hiding themselves pretending they are busy but they are actually scared). -You will do overtime without being paid. They will make pressure on you, telling you you need to stay after work (the weakest will stay) but it is nothing legal. However, they have recently introduced a system where they will pay you if you stay a certain number of times in a month (which is good but record your hours as they sometimes forget to count them). -You will need to accept a low salary at the end of the month. You will be working very hard for not much money and the reg. manager will even dare telling you that he thinks you are paid too much (mimimum wage, WTF). -You will need to deal with many incoherences from the management. They will ask you to limit interactions with customers in order to save time (more money for the company), they will even tell you not to speak with the customer to save maximum time possible. Then, you will receive customer service training from the same manager who will tell you that you need to speak to the customer in order to explain him all the process etc. (you will go mental in this company). -You will be spied on by some of your managers. I do not know why they are acting like this but I always felt like a 10 y-o in a playground. One team leader in particular is always coming to you asking you ''What do you do?''. You want to tell her that what you are doing is so obvious that she does not need to ask you such a stupid question. I do not know what they are afraid of, we are just doing our job. She will even request to have a look at the security cameras to know how long your break was and where you were. -You will be asked to rip off customers by proposing them a ridiculous premium service. -You will be asked to do tasks that you do not feel comfortable with. -You will not be treated as equal with other member of staff. Indeed, something I have never understood: not everyone will do the same tasks within the company. Be lazy or they will ask you a lot (especially if they see that you are a willing person). They take advantage of you. The less effort you do, the better it is in reality (company does not encourage hard working people at all).

Pros

Can't think of any pros to working for this company, they are just the worst company I've ever been employed by! Leaving them was the best thing I did

Cons

Worst company I've ever worked for. No training, poor management, little to no communication. They expect you to go out of your way for the company but do nothing to help the employee. It's all take and no give. Very unprofessional, they lose staff faster than water down a plug hole! Do not work for this company, you'll only regret it.

Pros

Only good thing is gaining knowledge of the visa industry and meeting great colleagues. Everything else about the company and upper management is an absolute shambles.

Cons

Absolutely bad management, no respect or appreciation for employees, basic hourly wage compare to amount of task and work, you work till very late hours overtime just to be able to get more bonus to make up the basic wage to the London living wage, no overtime was given which they then change to £25 if you stay behind and that's £25 no matter how many extra hours you overtime, you could be staying till past 10pm, no balance of life and work. Emotionally blackmailed to staying behind, if not management will discriminate you and favouritism staffs. No induction training given, yet they punish you if you make mistakes by deducting your bonus. Pay is always wrong yet they lie and try to get away with it, no transparency in company procedures and many agents who became team leader was never payed correctly, getting even much less than agents, when they complain, management will find a excuse to get rid of you. No company culture, no benefits, no proper HR, high staff turn over. No clear route of progression, no guidance and coaching and continuous training, yet they blame everything on team leaders and frontline agents, absolutely do not care and respect for employees or customers. This is truly modern day slavery at it's best, management don't give any regards to UK employment laws, bulling employees and the center manager who pretends to be nice to your face but always saying one thing to you and then another thing to another. Customers are made to feel like they are incompetent , no customer service at all because no proper management regarding customer service experience, it's all about them making money for the business, and customers are made to do Google reviews, giving a good review, not honestly asking customers to be honest about the service so they can improve on customer service by providing training and coaching to employees. As you see from the Google reviews, how many upset customers gave bad reviews. So glad I left the place, this company reeks of unlawful doing, previous HR even took the previous director to court for bullying and won, several people have, but they don't care and learnt nothing, absolute arrogant and bullish behaviour from management.
