Pros

Ok jewelry. Good discount. Great benefits.

Cons

No support from District or Regional managers. No coaching, feedback, no problem solving partnership. High expectations for achieving sales goals, if goals are not met you will be pushed out or let go.

Pros

You get to work in a sparkly place. That's it.

Cons

Management are unreliable and don't know what they're doing. You're given a 12 hour contact and told you'll be working at least double that. Seasonal part time staff aren't even allowed staff discount even though they work just as hard as permanent staff. Absolutely no training given and a very high staff turnover which is just embarrassing. Paid just above minimum wage even though the store is making thousands in profit every week. "You're not allowed to wear any jewellery unless it's Swarovski, and you aren't allowed any staff discount to buy any Swarovski jewellery, and you won't be able to afford it anyway on £6.59 an hour so don't wear jewellery even though you work in a jewellery shop." Embarrassing.

Pros

The products are beautiful and you get a pretty decent discount.

Cons

The job is incredibly boring 90% of the time. Also the company puts a tremendous amount of pressure on you to SELL, SELL, SELL but doesn't allow you any freedom to tailor and serve your customers. They aren't very understanding in regards to store location and the type of clients that run through each boutique, and have harsh consequences if you don't meet expectations. Even if you exceed your sales goal, you can still be disciplined for missing out on membership sign ups and such.
