      Asking too much of their employees with very low pay

      Pros

      Good discounts, they let you buy glasses at 50% off a few times a year.

      Cons

      Employees are expected to be loss prevention specialists, there is absolutely no security system in place. Expected to keep your eye on 1000+ pairs of glasses while delivering great customer service to multiple customers and working alone. Regional Manager only wants to hear about how everything is great, does not want to hear constructive criticism. Sales Associates are expected to be mini managers and run the store alone but are barely paid above minimum wage. Extremely stingy with payroll hours. Don't expect to be able to take a break to even use the bathroom on a busy day that you are working single coverage.

      Pros

      Great employees and managers for the most part. Awesome deals on sunglasses & benefits from lenscrafters too. Company does a great job giving the employees opportunities to get involved in their charity "one sight"

      Cons

      Boring, most of the employees are great, but you never get to work with them because you always work alone!

      One of the better part time retail jobs out there

      Pros

      Yearly free pair of glasses up to $500 is great, a small discount on contact lenses, job is fairly straight forward, no clothing to fold and you get to work with great higher end brands like Gucci, Prada etc.

      Cons

      Performance measurements are sometimes unrealistic and do not account for factors out of your control. RMs often mistreat the managers, which sets an overall bad mood in the store itself. They go through what many of us refer to as "flavours of the year" when it comes to store behaviours/expectations.
