Pros

Starbucks takes great pride in its product... at least the coffee. Every employee is encouraged to gain the most knowledge possible about coffee through internal classes and programs. Sbux is great about the environment also; with recycling everything to encouraging staff to volunteer once a month and on Earth Day.

Cons

Working at corporate; parking sucks.

Pros

The people. Overall, partners are bright, committed and enjoyable to work with. The coffee is great and there are espresso machines on every floor at corporate. Commitment to customers, employees, and the community.

Cons

As is the case in many retail environments, challenges with technical systems and infrastructure. Benefits and pay are average, but not great.

Pros

Benefits, flexible schedule, FREE coffee

Cons

Very few opportunities for store managers to move higher or laterally without willing to make a move to Seattle. Regional Offices and support positions are few and far between. Become a store manager and prepare yourself to not be treated with the same respect and dignity we promise our employees that work for us in the stores.
