Pros
- The people. (or I should say, when I was an employee there, everyone has left.) I gave the culture rating a 5 at first, but them remember that the culture has completely changed within the past year. - You will have an amazing brand on your resume, for when you are trying to get out! - Not accepting a job would be a PRO!
Cons
- The CEO cares more about her personal brand, than the success of the company. - Constant turnover with the executive team. There is no leadership, at all. The executive team is either quitting or getting fired. I had 6 supervisors during my tenure at SoulCycle, and 3 different VP's! - With a company that strives for development, there is absolutely no, I mean zero, opportunities for growth. If the CEO likes you, that's your only way of being promoted. - HR will ask you to write a review on Glassdoor and give 5 star ratings. - A common motto behind the walls: "hire slow, fire fast." I have seen at least 7 employees get fired within their first 2-3 months. Every employee literally jokes, "I'm getting fired today." - The field is falling apart. It's the corporate offices vs. the field. (doesn't surprise me when they have ladies with dance degrees as regional directors!) Field employees are very jealous of the corporate employees (the regional directors love to throw colleagues under the bus!) - Field managers are 21 year olds with no management, marketing, operations, leadership experience.
