Poor onboarding and insufficient communication from the line manager; Extended working hours without any compensation/appreciation; Unclear and poorly prepared instructions from fee earners; A blame-oriented culture in which fee earners attribute their own errors to support staff; Limited opportunity for staff in non-senior positions to have their concerns acknowledged or addressed; The feedback system lacks clarity and objectivity, is frequently unsupported by specific examples, and does not adequately verify the source of feedback, leading to misunderstandings and confusion.

Salary is below average in the market. There are no horrible managers, but lots of mediocre ones. Few great managers. Office is of very bad quality (think 80s style). Partners are extremely money focused and just want higher revenue. The "innovation" across the firm is mostly false marketing for clients; there's not much difference between this firm and others. Traditional firm that runs on billables.
